The name changed; check the plan you are buying

The official rebrand page dates the change to January 2025 and says existing accounts, projects and subscriptions carried over. Returning customers should inspect their account rather than assume a new-customer price applies to an older subscription.

The largest buying complication is inconsistent public documentation. The pricing page places scheduling in Essential, while the scheduler page contains broader Lite language and disagrees with itself about supported platform count. This is a reason to verify a required connection inside the product; it is not evidence that the connection fails.

Growth$49$33; $396/year600 / 1,200

Source: Quso pricing. Annual totals are calculated as the advertised monthly equivalent multiplied by twelve. Annual billing changes both the cash commitment and the allowance; it is not simply a discount on the same package.

Free lists 720p rendering and seven-day data retention. Lite lists 1080p clips and a desktop editor. Essential adds the content planner and scheduling; Growth adds a brand kit and analytics. The pricing FAQ says a credit is approximately a processed-video minute and that clipping, captions and editing draw on the allowance.

Follow one episode all the way to a scheduled post

Suppose a creator has a 30-minute interview and wants three posts for the coming week. This illustrative workflow tests the reason to choose Quso's broader bundle: each selected clip must become an approved, correctly scheduled post.

Start with the audience question each clip answers. Review a proposed excerpt without playing the original introduction. If the speaker says “that approach,” restore enough setup to name the approach. If the answer depends on a diagram, check whether it remains readable in the proposed crop. Rejecting a candidate at this stage avoids polishing captions on an unusable story.

After correcting names and caption timing, prepare the accompanying post. It should supply useful context, not repeat every spoken sentence. Choose the destination account and verify its required format before scheduling. Inspect the date and timezone alongside the preview: the same wall-clock time can mean a different release moment for a remote client.

Treat the first scheduled item as a handoff test. Confirm the approved file, caption and destination, then verify publication when it is due. A draft in the planner establishes preparation; it does not establish that the account connection is authorized to publish the required post type. If publication fails, inspect the connection and destination requirements before editing or regenerating the clip.

Keep the approved export and text outside the service so a failed handoff can be completed through your existing publishing route. The pass condition is three coherent clips and a functioning approval-to-publication path. No publication was performed for this review.

The allowance can change the monthly-versus-annual decision

Four 30-minute interviews total 120 source minutes. The pricing FAQ describes a credit as approximately a processed-video minute, with several operations using credits. That source workload alone exceeds monthly Lite's 100; annual Lite's 200 would provide more headroom, but it would not establish that the scheduling feature you need is included.

Essential's monthly 300 credits may fit that illustrative workload better, with room to measure additional operations. Its $39 price allocates $3.25 per post if all twelve proposed clips are accepted. Annual Essential commits $312 and lists 600 monthly credits. Choose annual billing only after you know both the editing workload and the destination connection work; a larger allowance does not fix an unsuitable crop or unsupported publishing requirement.

Returning Vidyo customers should check their existing account, projects and balance before creating another subscription. The official rebrand page describes account continuity.

What remains uncertain

The scheduler page mentions six platforms in one answer and seven in another. It also describes plan access more broadly than the pricing table. We use Essential as the documented scheduling entry tier and avoid a blanket channel-count promise. If Pinterest or a specific account type is essential, get confirmation before paying.

This research also cannot tell you whether Quso selects better clips or transcribes your language more accurately than a competitor. Test a source containing your normal accent, specialist terms and speaker changes. Count correction work rather than supported-language logos.

Test whether annual billing fits your output

Use your busiest ordinary month, not your easiest week, to estimate processing demand. Record each upload and any additional processing during the trial. Leave room for revisions and abandoned drafts. A cheaper equivalent rate does not help if you buy a year of capacity you rarely use.

Quso's terms generally make payments non-refundable, with statutory and discretionary exceptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid monthly or annual term. That makes a trial of the actual workflow more useful than guessing from a marketing demo.

Read Opus Clip versus Quso for the closest comparison. Try Quso.ai when both editing and publishing are part of the problem you want to solve.

Frequently asked questions

Is Vidyo.ai still available?

It continues as Quso.ai. The official rebrand page says accounts, projects and subscriptions carried over with the January 2025 name change.

Which plan should I consider for scheduling?

The pricing page lists scheduling from Essential. Other official copy conflicts, so confirm your required channel and account type before purchase.

Do annual plans include more credits?

Yes. The current pricing page lists twice the monthly credit allowance on annual billing for Lite, Essential and Growth.

Can I cancel an annual subscription for a partial refund?

The terms generally exclude refunds for unused subscription time. Cancellation normally stops renewal at the end of the annual term, subject to applicable rights and stated exceptions.
